I am a third generation therapist. My Grandfather was a psychologist, and my father a psychiatrist. I am a Licensed Psychologist trained in counseling and psychotherapy, a Certified Enneagram Teacher, and a Certified Neuropsychologist. As a neuropsychologist I have an understanding of the neuroanatomy of the brain, and an affinity for treatment known to work through scientific verification. I have been effectively helping clients in a variety of counseling environments since 1985.
I am a California native having been born and raised in Palo Alto. I strive to find a work life balance in the fast pace of the Silicon Valley by spending time hiking or riding my Peloton. My wife of over 30 years and I share a love of nature and family. Our greatest joy is traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Because I earned my Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) I can be called, “Dr. Daniels,” but I prefer, “J.D.”
